A Wish Your Heart Makes

We may be back home now, but my heart is still here:

Where else in the world do you have a 4-story Buzz Lightyear outside your hotel room?

Which happens to be 10 minutes away from a park full of wildlife?

Not to mention the wildlife we encountered at the character meals...

Meeting the characters was Liliane's favourite part. Whenever we could, we jumped in line to have a moment with whoever we came across.

Don't get me started on the Princesses. That is a post unto itself.

And just when it couldn't get any better, the Magic Kingdom was decorated for Halloween.

I just downloaded 805 photos into the computer, at least 500 of those are of Liliane with a character or a Princess. I promise to show you only the highlights.

To sum up: we had a GREAT time. Everything was magical: the weather, our hotel, the people, the food, everything.

Sigh.

Vacation rocks.

Hello from the Happiest Place on Earth!

We are here! So far I can't download photos (forgot my USB wire) but I'll see if the hotel has one later today. We've been having a great time! L.A. was amazing - we did everything we wanted to including the full-on tourist experience at the Graumann's Theatre, taking pictures at the Paramount studios gate, buying tacky souvenirs, we drove up really close to the Hollywood sign (although by that time it was too dark for photos), we sat in the SECOND row for a taping of the Tonight Show (so fun!) and hung out at both the Viper Room and the Whiskey A-Go-Go. We are slowing the pace down a little now that we are here for four days. We will head off to California Adventure for part of the day and then back to Disneyland. Tomorrow we're sneaking back to Burbank to do the Warner Brothers Studio Tour, then we'll finish off our day with Mickey :) Friday morning (after a much needed pedicure for me), we will head out to Santa Maria for Eric's wedding. We'll get some photos up as soon as we can!
